Storyline: Pichaikkaran revolves around Arul Selvakumar, who’s a rich guy of the city. One day, he realises that his mother’s life is at stake and can’t be easily saved. He tries his best, and at last, decides to become a beggar for 48 days, to save his mother. He even has a cute love story in between. He gives up every pleasure and starts to live as a beggar, but as expected, the goons and rowdies won’t sit quietly in the city. Arul continues his mission, but even starts to fight against rowdies in the meanwhile. What is his new aim? What’s his true aim of becoming a beggar? The film is packed with action, drama, romance and the bigger thrill, which can’t be realised until the film is watched.
Arul (Vijay Antony) is a rich businessman based out of Palladam, Tirupur district. His mother Bhuvaneshwari (Dheepa Ramanujam) is the person behind the growth of their textile business following her husband’s early death. Avinashi (Muthuraman) is her brother-in-law who is money minded and has plans to grab Arul’s properties.
